At the “Abstract Aesthetics Bar with Turntable Equipment”, our interest is monopolised by music and its routes around the world, how it is created, how the various genres are experimentally mixed and how they are expressed. We invite you to this constant search for worlds, cultures and sounds accompanied by vinyl and collectible productions that mark our path, which counts several years of experience.
The Space is an ideal choice for a graduation ceremony organised by studious music lovers who are looking for new sounds and melodies or for a cocktail party where it will be framed by a tropical atmosphere, low lighting, warm color and sound tones and a discreet biophilic touch.
Design and Practicality
The “Abstract Aesthetics Bar with Turntable Equipment” is an eclectic interpretation of the Afrotropical style where comfort, relaxed mood, usability, warmth, calm colors, natural elements of wood and plants and modern functionality prevail. Anything unnecessary and garish is avoided in the decoration and the selected decorative elements are a statement, declaring the central theme of the Space.
For Events & Meetings We suggest you to organise a party with the theme “Bring your own vinyl” with sounds that are in line with the Afrotropical style, with guests who share the same musical preferences as you and with a specific dress code.
If you are hosting an art exhibition in our gallery, get creative and create your own DIY shelves with a set of wooden crates, some wood varnish, and a few screws to hold it all together. This idea is also ideal for displaying antiques and crafts with a vintage aesthetic.
*Note*
1. For party-type events there is no permanently installed equipment and party lights etc. must be requested
2. In the case of a hire where you are allowed to Bring Your Own Food & Drinks, you must also provide the corresponding service equipment (e.g. plastic cups), unless you wish for them to be served by us for which there will be an extra cost
3. A van with (technical) equipment or for transportation can be parked outside for a short time if requested
4. The outdoor area can accommodate over 100 people and is suitable for night screenings. Professional equipment for screenings can be provided in this case with an operator at +100 euros.
5 Upon request, any additional service can be offered
6. There is a loft for storing items (e.g. laptops, bags, etc.) Anything forgotten, is kept stored and returned to you!
For Productions Short films of the AUTH cinema department have been shot as well as fashion / clothing show productions. The colors and textures of South America are the aesthetic inspiration and imprint.
