Identity / Potentials
The “Restaurant with Gilded Walls” is located in the heart of the historic center in a timeless shopping area, named Ladadika, a name given to the oil trade that took place in this area in the medieval period. With the aim and expectation to offer something special that will inspire the feeling of coziness and the uniqueness of a gourmet restaurant, for our organisers and their guests, we have created an atmospheric environment serving creative Mediterranean cuisine with traditional flavors fused with modern refined techniques under high quality standards.
Design and Practicality
The “Restaurant with Gilded Walls” is surrounded by elements of wood, stone, patinated surfaces (vintage furniture), frames with images that refer to the countryside and tradition. The use of building materials (such as iron, metal) rusticates the character of the space, which adheres to the aesthetics of a traditional mansion intertwined with the traditional cuisine we offer.
For Events & Meetings The "Restaurant with Gilded Walls" is ideal for organising various events - corporate (such as product presentations), social (such as weddings, christenings, graduations, anniversaries), parties (adults only) and meetings (seminars, training workshops, conferences). Having hosted a wide range of events and business meetings and having collaborated with different profiles of organisers, we are able to offer all kinds of additional services and equipment either for free (eg computer, printer) or at an additional cost (e.g. x. microphones, DJ, presentation board, TV screen, large speakers, decoration) if we receive the corresponding requests from you in time.
🍽️ In order to satisfy the tastes of even the most demanding guests, we have enriched our menu with delicious options for vegans and vegetarians. Our goal is to conduct a thorough, personalized event.
Due to its central location, our restaurant is easily located, the nearby area is accessible by public transport, you can find hotels, banks, bars and attractions within reach and you have the amenity of parking in the municipal or private parking lot. We would recommend after your gastronomic experience in our space, to walk along the beach of Thermaikos which is within walking distance in order so as to enjoy our beautiful and historical city.
*Note*:
1. The Space is divided into two levels (which are connected by an internal staircase) and a total reservation of both sub-spaces must be made if you wish to have complete freedom in terms of volume. Otherwise, if one of the two sub-spaces is booked, your event should be of mild intensity (eg annual cutting pie). The ground floor has a capacity of 27 people (seated) and the first floor has a capacity of 80 people (seated).
2. The flower decoration is provided within the price when the event has many guests (over 40 people)
3. Barbecue is placed in the kitchen and is available for service but can not be used by the organisers or their guests.
4. The subwoofers are integrated in our wall-mounted speakers.
For Productions The aesthetic uniqueness of the restaurant makes our space an ideal framework for productions that include photos or videos, a fact that has justified those content creators who have chosen our space to date. Natural light is controlled and you are provided with the ability of configuring the space according to the needs of your production. Our Room has been used as a backdrop for themed photography such as wedding photography. We are also open to commercial productions (eg product or fashion photography).
