Identity - Potentials
The "Living Room - Alternative Gallery" is a Space of free expression - artistic without limited use cases - where every artist / creator has the possibility to communicate his project. We have created a Space for socializing against the backdrop of exhibits or artistic events, where our main concern is the promotion of knowledge, arts and experiential experiences. The Space is great for artistic exhibitions, performing arts (imrpov, dance, etc.), seminars, lectures, parties, live concerts, screenings for Organisers that seek an environment that inspires warmth, hospitality and creativity.
Design and Practicality
The cozy, retro atmosphere of the Space is evident, with the large windows that surround it welcoming you, the wooden surfaces embracing you, and the vintage decoration takes you on a mental journey. The lighting, simple and warm, is ideal for performances that seek play and drama, for photographs that seek the ideal angle in order to achieve the desired shot, but also for a music activity where musicians and spectators mingle sensually, merging in a musical journey with strong experiential imprints. The comfort and flexible layout favors the hosting of parties and exhibitions (corporate or artistic) where the movement and flow of visitors and participants within the space is a necessary functionality in such instances.
For Events & Meetings The Space is configured in such a way that promotes communication and is colored and not neutral because the goal is not only the simple display of the (art) works but above all the connection with people. Thus the design itself (e.g. the presence of plants, warm colors) promotes intimacy and acts as a lever for socializing the attendees. Ideal activities are exhibitions (of photography or art), bazaars, book presentations, art classes (crafts, sculpture, photography, creative writing), interviews of artistic nature, concerts, and performances (which can interact with the outside space - as the windows are opened and the Space is configured as a unified interior and exterior space).
*Note*
1. For the ‘Art Exhibition’ activity, the Space is given charge free to the artists with an agreement to take a commission if their art works are sold during the exhibition.
2. We only allow to Bring Your Own food, you should consume (if you wish) beverages from our bar (at catalogue prices)
3. For activities that may include cooking or barbecuing, your booking request should mention that and it will be agreed upon
4. We can bring a DJ for your event at a cost of €15 plus VAT
For Productions The "Living Room - Alternative Gallery" is a sunny retro space suitable for Organisers - producers of content creation with an emphasis on indie / experimental storytelling of image and video projects. It is an open and conducive to movement in space, sunny for shots rich in photo-shadows, with an artistic character that will suit any type of activity that will take into advantage its alternative background.
