The "Downtown Italian Gastrobar", with the Italian elegance that characterises it both in the decoration and in the cuisine it offers, is a small oasis in the busy city center and the hectic everyday city life. Here comfort food with the warmth and deep deliciousness that comes from traditional Italian cuisine meets gourmet and refined flavors and textures. It's the corner restaurant-bar, you know, the one you admire in big movie productions and you wish you were in such a place to drink your coffee, cocktail or fine wine.
Design and Practicality
The Space's decorative identity is the industrial style, with the black color palette dominating. Wood plays a leading role, in harmonious coexistence with exposed brick surfaces, metal details in furniture and other decorative elements, plush chairs, use of natural materials in lighting. There is also low warm lighting that enhances relaxation. The green plants that mainly adorn the exterior of the Space create a "natural" sound barrier from the busy streets of the surrounding area, as well as providing a discreet cover from the eyes of passers-by. It combines urban, cozy and elegance, an ideal combination for corporate events, parties and any other event you are inspired by!
For Events & Meetings The "Downtown Italian Gastrobar" is a common choice for organising corporate events (such as corporate parties and inter-company meetings), social events (such as anniversaries, graduation ceremonies, award ceremonies) and parties (such as birthday celebrations, bachelor and cocktail parties). The many years of experience of our baristas guarantee the quality of our cocktails and our friendly staff ensures the pleasant experience of your guests.
🍽️ ‘’Mangiare's Kitchen'': If you want the culinary aspect of your event to leave an indelible impression on your guests, then we are your right choice. The "Downtown Italian Gastrobar", stands out for its traditional Neapolitan pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. We are particularly proud of the way we make our dough, which we leave to mature for at least 24 hours before our Pizzaiolos open the dough we serve so that it maintains the quality we aim for (the characteristic taste of the authentic Italian recipe) and not being stodge! Thin, crispy dough with tasty sauce and natural aromas. Besides, the materials we use bear the stamp of origin in Italy.
Our menu includes savory and sweet (eg oreo or fruit) pizza options as well as tasty suggestions for vegetarians. Among our dishes stand out pasta Alfredo, spaghetti bolognese, pasta with smoked salmon and mushroom risotto, while our salads escape the trivial. We also serve brunch! As trimmings you will find a rich list of wine labels and three sangria options (white, rosé and red).
We are quite selective in our wines choosing and supporting small vineyards from North Greece as well as selected Italian labels. We invite you to live an unexpected experience at the most hyped spot of the center by organising your event!
*Note*:
1. Organisers can request the reservation of either the indoor or outdoor space (capacity up to 40 people for each space). The Space is not available for booking as a whole of both spaces for the sake of serving our guests.
2. Upon discussion: we allow loud music (if not during communal quiet hours), use of gold dust and music after midnight (depending on days & times), upon request and consultation we may conditionally allow changes to decor
3. We provide the wood oven if you wish to organise pizza making seminars
For Productions The "Downtown Italian Gastrobar", is suitable for productions with a theme, what else, from the Italian element that is reflected not only in the flavors we serve but also in the decoration itself. It would be perfect as a theme for a wedding shoot, a movie shoot, and whatever else you're inspired by!
