Identity / Potentials
As a phoenix reborn from its ashes, the “Vintage Clothing Bar” breathed life into an abandoned space that still exuded the rock, unconventional, carefree aura of a historic boîte in the city (formerly Kathmandu) that hosted great musicians throughout the artistic scene of the '80s, a place of reflection of decoration, culture, fashion and art. The conception of the idea was to revive the Space with additions of our own aesthetics and philosophy that harmonize with the historical background of the its historic use and extend it so that it becomes contemporary relevant. It was based on our need during COVID and quarantine conditions, to resort to “undercover” spaces in order to have fun. So the whole situation combined with the existence of the underground - secret bar acquired a speakeasy character.
Our love for flashy, neon, colorful, baggy and vintage clothing of the 80s & 90s is evident and reflected in our rich collection of clothing from these decades. We offer you an eclectic, eclectic, rustic and at the same time modern, functional and at the same time decoratively adventurous place in order to unleash your creativity or simply to experience together with friends and partners the aesthetic paths that we have mapped out for you in the hope that you too will discover and invent your own.
Design and Practicality
The "Vintage Clothing Bar" is full of statement and decorative avant-garde pieces. It is characterized by an eclecticism that ranges from the power of the baroque to the nostalgia of the vintage with emblematic touches and the delightfully quirky aesthetic of the pop culture of the 80s and 90s. The abundance of textures, where the plush feel of the impressive sofas and rugs coexists with the glossiness of the bar and the relief of the statuettes.
The central "stage" features a curtain open to the public, full of vintage objects and stories seeking to be incorporated to the present and feed visitors with visions, ideas, romance, and wanderlust. The antique car stoically parked waiting to travel uncharted routes, the retro suitcases full, the cosby sweaters, the neon waist bags stimulate the feeling of exploration, of escaping from the hazy, dreary and dead-end urban landscape. Of course, music could not be missing from this revolutionary escape, with the piano and guitars investing and accompanying the aesthetic and mental journey. The original placement of the paintings on the ceiling prompts you to lie down and ground yourself while enjoying the oil paintings that act as windows of imagination and creative thinking. The atmospheric and sweet lighting enhances the cozy feeling that the Space exudes.
For Events & Meetings Our Space is available for organising corporate events such as product exhibitions, press conferences (most ideally for activities such as corporate parties and fashion shows), for special occasions such as art exhibitions, award ceremonies, recitals, graduations (most ideally for activities such as elegant festivals gala type and performances) and for parties such as graduation parties, festivals, celebrations (most ideally for activities such as birthday parties, cocktails, batchelor and concerts). It is also available for meeting-type of activities, i.e. for group meetings, presentations, seminars, workshops, auditions.
It has been used by dance groups, for birthday parties and for some of our lives. The stage has a curtain, a movable DJ booth on the stage, the piano is functional, the intensity of the lighting is adjustable and the clothes can be moved to increase the main area.

2. There is a courtyard near the Space connected to the main area, ideal for smokers (photos will be uploaded soon)
3. There is a cloakroom and during your activity you can dress up in clothes from the cloakroom or organise a vintage themed party
For Productions The "Vintage Bar with Clothes" is full of creative elements, images and textures that allude to the timeless grandeur. It revives stimuli of nostalgic times and (pre)invites you to experience them in the present through art (fashion). It is available for organising content creation productions - and has been used for a variety of photo shoots as well as shootings of music video clips.
