Diogenes may have been looking for a Man with his lantern, but you won't need a lantern to discover the most special Space for your event and that is the "Small Atmospheric Stoa". The Space surprises with its original aesthetic proposal in the mystical atmosphere emanated by the Stoa. It offers a new urban cuisine, multi-awarded and with international distinctions, which is based on recipes with tradition and history from the Poli (i.e. Konstantinople), and with fresh and quality ingredients, from trusted partners and producers, also supporting the local market.
Design and Practicality
The aesthetic design of the Space utilizes the historical aesthetic background of art deco, maintaining its elegance and functionality by harmonizing it with midcentury modernism. The wooden furniture, the artistic and historical frames that narrate moments and landscapes of the past, the ocher color that dominates and embraces the Space, the clean lines and layout, the atmospheric simple lighting, the light gauze curtains, the worn floor in style chessboard with meander-shaped motifs, and the discreet presence of English scrolls that beautify and clean the Space are all unique elements that synthesize an aesthetic masterpiece, suitable for any kind of event.
For Events & Meetings The "Small Atmospheric Stoa" is mainly available for special occasions (wedding receptions, christenings receptions and funerals receptions, anniversaries, artistic events) and parties (birthdays, celebrations or bachelor parties) without excluding corporate events or meetings (seminars, presentations). It is suitable for small gatherings which are nevertheless surrounded by a warm and comfortable Space, that is.
🍽️ Honoring our Smyrna origin, we cook and serve recipes based on the traditional flavors of Politiki cuisine, which we have studied and having a great persistence we managed to enrich it with modern creative inspirations. You will find the ”Small Atmospheric Stoa" standing out not only for its historical character but also for the diligence of serving quality domestic products with aromas, colors and flavors all naturally in harmony with the elements that make up its aesthetic environment.
Our multi-awarded chef, Eftychia, cooks dishes with fresh ingredients and with generous portions that we are sure will be subject to positive comments from your guests.
If you are going to request an à la carte menu, we would suggest you to include, for your activity, the refreshing "Phanos" salad (with lettuce, iceberg, radicio, handmade nuts, sun-dried tomato and basil dressing), grilled veal cheeks, yogurt Smyrna on top of the salad), Grandma Eftychia's meatballs on the grill. Finally, among the most popular choices of our visitors are our pies (e.g. open vegetable pie and pastourma pie) produced with our own pie sheet, as well as the bulk wine that is also of our own production! Not to mention that we also serve dishes suitable for a vegetarian and vegan diet (e.g. chickpea meatballs with smoked eggplant dip and artichoke lemonade with fava beans) and seafood (e.g. handmade octopus kebab with dill puree & fermented pie).
*Note*
1. We have experience in serving for events such as funeral receptions and graduations.
2. Upon request and further communication, for an additional fee, we can book an orchestra or a music band for your event or other external collaborators (e.g. an animator for a children's party).
For Productions The "Small Atmospheric Stoa" bears evidence of the historicity of the building, in which the date of its construction is inscribed and which is likely to have taken place before 1912, i.e. before Thessaloniki's so called great fire. Its large metal door, and the characteristic for its era floor are some authentic elements of its historicity, but we have intervened with decorations of our preference and you are welcomed to give it your own creative perspective.
